Rolling Mill Technology is a core competency of IMS. This is where IMS truly got its start, and remains at the heart of what we do. When it comes to Rolling knowledge and experience, IMS is a world leader. IMS was one of the first companies to pioneer the application of PLC systems to all aspects of rolling mill control. The concept from the beginning has been to use commercially available off-the-shelf solutions and reject "home brewed," proprietary control system platforms.
