As a leading provider of custom process automation solutions, IMS focuses on complex applications. Contact us today to see how we can support your customized system.
As a custom process automation solutions provider for a variety of industries, we provide open architecture designs that are commissioned by the engineers that create them.
IMS is a “supplier neutral” company and installs “best fit” hardware utilizing commercially available, non-proprietary products. We will select equipment from world class suppliers such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, ABB, GE, and IBA as well as many other leading companies.
IMS selects proven products that best fit your application, but the true value we bring to our customers
is our experience and ability to apply these products to the application.
IMS excels at complex applications and provides a wide range of equipment and services for both new and retrofit projects. We have extensive expertise in the following areas:
Because manufacturing generally shares the same building blocks as used in IMS’ experiences above, we have always been confident and successful when taking on new opportunities outside of the industries we traditionally serve.
IMS approaches every project with a project plan. We start with a documented project execution plan which defines project scope, schedule, and deliverables. Next comes functional descriptions, basic engineering documents and IMS programming and HMI standards documents. Only once we have fully laid out the project objectives and functionality, and have customer buy-in, do we start writing code. This approach takes much more effort on the front end, but virtually eliminates code rewrites and
prolonged commissioning time.
IMS exceeds industry standards by use of custom-engineered simulation software. The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) verifies proper operation of all system functions using an approved test plan. All equipment is staged, runs concurrently, or is simulated for a complete test of the entire system. Each drive in the system test has its own motor simulator based on a mathematical model.
IMS strives to commission the systems we provide in the most efficient way possible. We do this because we understand that outages and prolonged start-ups represent lost opportunity for our customers.
Integrated Mill Systems offers a full range of control system manufacturing capabilities. We build all of our own systems in house. This allows us to control the quality of the work, and of the final product delivered to you.
